It's LayHooi's wedding dinner on 27th April (Saturday) in Penang, so family decided to go one day in advance as our wedding + Penang trip!
I was really excited because I haven't been to Penang for so long and never get the chance to photograph the wall painting!
Now this is the best chance ever like finally! :D
What I really wanted to says is, a millions thanks to the awesome efforts of Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic.
He is leaving his mark with beautiful wall painting of children all across historical Georgetown.
The artworks are funny, fascinating, and very much open to everyone’s interpretations.
In conjuction with Penang’s Georgetown Festival, certain old walls within our dear capital has gained a new lease of life.
And this bring mickle of outsider to Penang just for all these awesome paintings.
“Little Children on a Bicycle” Mural, Armenian Street, George Town, Penang
“Boy on a Bike” Mural, Ah Quee Street
With the sister and papi. :D
Reaching Up” Mural, Cannon Street
Oink Oink Oink Oink Oink! ^(OO)^
Another favorite photo! Little Boy with Pet Dinosaur” Mural, Ah Quee Street
I am the Dinosaur because the real dinosaur painting were destructed. :(
“Little Girl in Blue” Mural, Muntri Street.
This little girl in blue is not "little" at all. It's really really huge. :O
Another famous wall painting but destructed in The Weld Quay Clan Jetties Waterfront Settlement. (The Chew Jetty)
I heard it destructed because too many outsiders/visitors come for this and this actually annoyed the residents.
Here, people consider their neighbours family and would bend over backwards to help each other – a rarity in this modern day and age.
Another artist of this wall painting! We were so lucky to met him in The Chew Jetty!
One of the famous local movie was here for scenes.
BN flags in Penang are really really really scary. Not joking. :S
I really like the Chew Jetty! The environments and all are just so my type! Lol
Have you try FRIED ICE before?!?!?!?! Only in Penang!!!
My first fried ice in my life.
I told you. This is really my type. If you know what I mean :)
After a really enjoyable sweating day, it's time to get back home and prepare for the wedding dinner.
It was my first time ever to attend a wedding dinner in a school hall. Another experience gained!
Candid! Couple dress with the sister. :D
Thanks God for the couple dress because both us actually brought really gorgeous gowns to attend the dinner,
untill we found its kinda weird to wear it to a school hall wedding dinner.
So we decided to wear these couple dresses that we actually wanted to wear it on the next day. Haha
Can't really believe that we actually wore these simple dresses for a wedding dinner but its don't look weird at all.
