The event Codered2013 organized by the semester 4 and semester 6 students of school of communication HAS finally ARRIVED!
The set ups are all well done when we first reached at 7am in the morning! It's so pretty! :D
Of course we started our rehearsal again before the event officially begin and all the VIPS arrive.
Practice make perfect, we just want to make it better for the rest of the time we left.
Everyone seems more nervous at the actual day rehearsal and some of our launch gambit people injured during the final practice. :(
The Fire Fighters Malaysia and VIPS arrived and welcomed!
So let me briefly introduce our Codered2013 once again!
This Event is handled by the students from School of Communication. Wonder what Code Red is about?
What can you think of this when hearing Code Red? Code Red is a red sign where will be held at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus
What can you think of this when hearing Code Red? Code Red is a red sign where will be held at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus
which provides you tips on safety by the students of School Communication and the friendly Fire Fighters Malaysia.
The launch gambit team! Thankyou for bringing up the beginning of the event! It's really interesting!
All the VIPS were so afraid and wondering what actually happen when the opening alert bell
got stolen and it brought the curiosity and attention to all the audiences!
Till the fire fighter save the bell and the official opening ceremony after! :D
The crowds of the day in our launch.
There are so many information booths and details telling about fire fighters, safety and security.
All well prepared and presented by the professional teams and organization comity.
As with any stressful situation our thinking becomes a victim of it's own self from the start.
Things around us can become unclear, slow moving, or otherwise different.
Training, knowledge and experience fortunately help a great deal to compensate.
Me and Janice with full costume.
Here comes to the demonstration from the " BOMBA DAN PENYELAMAT 120-10" in Taylor's University Lakeside campus's LAKE!!
The pretty first time our LAKE are well used for something besides feeding the ducks! Haha! And credits to the students for being the victims!
The RED team!! Some of us were being so so so so so excited for the demonstration!
Non- stop screaming and shouting as a sign of support! Especially me and Michelle are crazily CRAZY!
The demonstration are really really interesting! I was being so extremely excited for all these!
I shout and scream like nobody business till I think people around me think I am crazy. :S
Really appreciated for what I have seen during the event and launch because I guess I will never ever have the chance
to experiences live demonstrations like this in my life.
Myself with both of the professional fire fighters!
So if you know me, you know I will never. It was my pretty first time for wearing a trouser to campus!
Everyone are like, hey Elissa you wearing a long pant?! Looking weird! lol
Trying to be one of the demonstration member too! :p
Demo on fire fighting! The representative of the fire fighting taught us for having to use a fire-extinguisher is simple in and of itself.
However, the situation that requires it's use can make a simple thing difficult of course.
Just remember the acronym P.A.S.S. to help make sure you use it properly.
Pull- The first step is to pull the pin ( it usually has the inspection tag attached to it) that prevents the handle from being squeezed.
Aim- The second step is to aim the spray nozzle, or if attached the hose nozzle, at the fire. Aim low at the base of the fire.
Squeeze- The third step is to squeeze the handle to spray the contents. Remember a standard fire-extinguisher has less than 30 seconds of spray time.
Sweep- The final step is to sweep back and forth as you spray the base of the fire.
Group photo of ALL OF US during the last session of the event. Basically, the fire fighters done, we're done.
On the fire fighter's cool red RIDES!
One of the sponsor of the event- Red Bull
The event ended in 2 hours. 11am-1pm. As I mentioned, fire fighters done, we done.
Never expect the event done in so so so short time. Although I don't have much satisfaction on doing and working out this event,
However, I really really enjoy the launch, demonstration and activities done by the Fire Fighters of the day.
The knowledge, learning, training, and experience that fortunately help a great deal to compensate.
That's the satisfaction I got from this event after all. :D Good job and thank you everyone!
The best experiences gaining ever!
The best experiences gaining ever!
